Annual pr support for the Global Women’s Health Index
Hologic is a global medtech innovator focused on improving the health and well-being of women through early detection and treatment. Its advancements include invention of the world’s first commercial 3D mammography system to find breast cancer earlier; leadership in testing for cervical cancer, sexually transmitted infections and respiratory illnesses; and minimally invasive uterine surgery technologies.
But, it doesn’t end there. Since 2021, Hologic has been partnering with Gallup to conduct a comprehensive annual study on the state of women’s health worldwide: the Hologic Global Women’s Health Index (GWHI). The Index fills a critical gap in knowledge about the health, safety and well-being of women worldwide, and seeks to improve the quality of life, health outcomes and life expectancy of women worldwide by providing health and policy leaders impartial, independent data about women’s health in their countries. For the latest edition, more than 147,000 women and men in 143 countries and territories were interviewed, representing 97% of the world’s women and girls (15 and older).
Since the start of this multi-year initiative, Hologic has been calling on Evoke to get the GWHI the media coverage it deserves: by drafting and distributing press materials, getting journalists to press events, and organising interviews. The results speak for themselves: articles in all kinds of Tier 1 media: popular and general press, business media, specialised medical outlets … Some examples? Belga, RTBF, Knack, Le Vif, La Libre Belgique, Metro, Het Nieuwsblad, La Dernière Heure, Ciné Télé Revue, Le Journal du Médecin, De Specialist, Plus magazine …
Mission accomplished!
