Who are we?

Evoke is an ambitious and growing PR agency specialized in PR and content marketing. We combine the power of the written word and the wonderful tools of PR to bring our clients' stories to the attention of the right media and journalists in a clear and attractive way. 

We work for large international companies as well as national ones. In addition to our specialization in technology and start-ups, as Automotive PR Benelux and member of the global Automotive PR network, we are increasingly becoming a fixture in the transport and logistics sector.

Our agency is located in ICAB, an incubator for promising growth companies in the lively Etterbeek area. The office is within walking distance of the VUB and bus, train and metro connections.

What do we stand for?

Transparency: If a PR idea won’t work, we will say so. If it should have, but it didn’t, we will genuinely tell you why. Also, through clear activity and clipping reporting, you know exactly what you pay for and what the results of our support are. It’s this openness and honesty that has allowed us to build as many long term relationships with our customers, which in turn lead to mutual understanding and an ever increasing added value.

Approachability: We see ourselves as a PR extension of your internal communications team. We don’t hide behind quotes, small letters or ifs and buts. We are approachable, available and always look to build a personal and human connection. In doing so, we are not only able to act quickly when opportunities arise, it also helps to build trust in our customer relationships and to set your mind at ease with the knowledge that we have got you covered.

Your job

• Report. You are keen to share your hard work. You create easy-to-read activity reports on your accomplishments and share them with colleagues and clients during weekly or monthly calls.

• Digging. For interesting topics, creative ideas, out-of-the-box angles, hooks on current affairs, … In short: exciting stories of our clients that need to be shared.

• Writing. Press releases, client stories (long reads), blogs, editorials. You can blindly rely on your language skills, keeping the right tone-of-voice in mind, to spread the key message. This results in delicious writings that press loves to get served. 

• Pitching. You know how to convince journalists time over time and they know when to contact you: you’re a source of relevant and ready-to-serve content and testimonials that contribute to the news of tomorrow.

• Construct and maintain. Successful PR is a long term process. Therefor it is important to take care of your client and press relations. You remain available and reliable and you keep promises.

Your profile

• You’ve obtained a master’s or bachelor’s degree in the relevant fields of communication or journalism, recently graduated and ready to start your pr-career. 

• You’re curious of nature and stung by news. You’re a natural talent in translating complex information into accessible content. You’re interested in (new) technologies and mobility. 

• Language is one of your loves. You write fluently and without errors in English, Dutch and French, and you know how to express yourself verbally (spoken word) in those three main languages.

• You’re a team player that is also self employed and assertive. You’re to the point without being impolite. You work in a structured manner and deadlines are a sacred thing to you.
